The theory of special relativity is crafted backwards out of glass tubing pumped with neon gas- a play on words and scientific principles. It is attached to black particle board which hovers over the wall casting yellow and purple light. Wit infused with humor and play is integral to Michael Flechtner, one of the most widely known neon artists who bend his own work. Flechtner is admired for his contribution in the field, skill at bending, and numerous accomplishments including designing the neon celebrate stamp.
