This is a forest green cotton t-shirt of the vintage Seal Beach Motel neon sign in the MONA collection. The sign resided at Central Ave. and 5th St. in a residential area of Seal Beach, Calif. In multiple rebranding attempts, the seaside motel changed in name from a motel to a hotel, and then to the Seal Beach Inn and Gardens. By 1983 the seal was gone from its perch and six years later found it's way to MONA.
