Browsing through the California State Archives, photographer-historian Tom Zimmerman came across these stunning night photographs of neon taken by J. Howard Mott.
Since Mott’s death, his work had been virtually unknown until Zimmerman’s rediscovery.
This exhibit catalog features classic black-and-white photos of never-before-seen storefront signs and L.A. Art Deco architecture.
