Cork is an artist working with electricity much as a sculptor works with clay. His interest and curiosity with electricity as a material rather than as formally acquired knowledge was, as he discovered, the best possible place from which he could develop his ideas. For Cork, this "not-knowing" and trial-and-error method of learning and discovery was the fertile creation ground for his art. The effects of his creations are magical in their simplicity and directness.
