MONA Member Tour of Nights of Neon and Lisa Schulte’s Studio

Join fellow MONA members to experience the neon fabrication and rental house Nights of Neon and the studio of groundbreaking neon sculptor Lisa Schulte.
Lisa Schulte has operated Nights of Neon for over 40 years. The company houses one of the largest neon prop rental collections in the world and fabricates neon for major movies, television shows, and music videos. Nights of Neon creations have been featured in blockbusters like Batman and Spider-Man and they have shaped the visual landscape of MTV in the 1980s and 90s, illuminating Prince, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Gwen Stefani. Nights of Neon collaborates with corporate brands and has shaped the visual identity of iconic local landmarks, such as Grand Central Market and Dodgers stadium.
Lisa Schulte, also known as "The Neon Queen," is a sculptor and fine artist who makes innovative neon art. She combines organic materials like driftwood, and palm pods with abstract, neon gestures.
The studio is located in the valley and exact address will be send upon confirmation of membership.
